She finds

Sarah Q. recently provided She Finds with a list of trends on their way out in 2020. The article highlighted planners from across the country, and here are the top nine trends couples are saying bye bye to.

  1. Balloon Release
  2. Donut Walls
  3. Guest Books
  4. Favors
  5. Dessert Tables
  6. Flower Walls
  7. Multi-Course Dinners
  8. Structured Bouquets
  9. Big Bridal Parties

In addition to those, here are a few more things we see couples no longer doing for their weddings.

  1. Boutonnieres and Personal Flowers – Fewer and fewer couples are opting to put flowers on everyone involved in the wedding, in particular ushers, grandparents, parents and groomsmen. While nice gestures these personal flowers do add up. We are seeing couples decide to spend this money elsewhere.
  2. Photobooths – Photobooths have been on their way out for some time now. While companies are coming up with new and inventive photo booths, the cost of these is often not justifiable. Couples are realizing they can spend their money on other interactive experiences that are more personal to them.
  3. Matching Bridesmaids – This has been occurring for some time now, but gone are the days of matching bridesmaids’ dresses. Brides are embracing the idea of helping bridesmaids find dresses that look good on each of them, which equates to happier bridesmaids and better photos.
